Many technicians have been told and believe that the only way to produce a solid stable tuning is to use hard blows.
While hard blows confirm a stable tuning, they also:
– damage your hearing
– damage your joints
– damage the piano
– make the customer uncomfortable
– and do not confirm a stable tuning over time.
