Video Course with Feedback - Start Page
Two Years
Complete all 22 Units and become certified as an Aural Piano Technician, APTU.
Interview with Andreas, student of the Piano Tuning Video Course with Feedback
Here is how the video course with feedback course is run:
Once you sign up for the Piano Tuning Video Course with Feedback, you will get immediate access to all the lessons on HowToTunePianos.com (unless you are paying by payment plan. Then we must create your account manually.)
After successfully completing the theory and stability courses (see below) the student must contact the school to begin their unit submissions. They will be guided how to complete and submit their units.
The student will work through 22 units and send in a recording of each unit once completed.
They will then receive a video of their instructor evaluating the unit. If they pass, the instructor will guide them on how to complete the next unit. If they fail the unit, the instructor will guide them on what they can do to improve their mark.
Please allow one week before emailing about the status of the feedback video.
After successful completion of all 22 units, the student will receive the certification of Aural Piano Tuner, APTU, with the International Piano Technicians School, IPTS.
The following video and check list below will guide you in how to start the course. It says it is for the Mentor and Accelerated programs but the set-up is the same.
