Free Ear Training Course for Piano Tuners

 December 20, 2017

By  Mark Cerisano, RPT, B.Sc.(Mech.Eng.)

Do you have the ears to be a piano tuner?

Piano tuners have good ears but not in the traditional musician sense.

As a music student, I trained my ear to be able to hear intervals and write down melodies and harmonies that I heard.

The "Piano Tuner's Ear" is different. It has to be trained to filter out unwanted frequencies and zero in on a very narrow and moving set of desired frequencies, at will.

Piano tuners have sensitive ears, but they weren't born with them. They develop their ears to be able to filter specific frequencies at will.

Take this free course and see how they do that.

Develop your own ears to become more sensitive to specific frequency ranges.

See if you are able to improve your own "Piano Tuner's Ear"
