The sequences allow one pass setting of the temperament due to the high accuracy in setting pitches and the self correcting feature.
The high accuracy comes from not using a one-size-fits-all sequence which traditional sequences use, but rather, the high accuracy comes from aurally measuring the inharmonicity of the piano and selecting the appropriate sequence for that piano.
Even though this sounds daunting – learning three separate sequences – the three separate sequences are only needed to tune two notes – F#3 and A#3.
The rest of the piano is tuned using the same sequence.
