Here you can find out all about the Mentor Program offered by the International Piano Technicians School.
The Mentor Program is a one-on-one aural piano tuning program that will train you in the Mark Cerisano Tuning System.

Who is this course for?
The Mentor Program is for anyone who wants to learn how to tune a piano to a high level.
You should be a musician and understand music theory.
People looking for piano tuner certification.

Who is this course not for?
People who do want or need to attain a high tuning level.
Non-musicians.
People who have never heard of the Mark Cerisano Tuning System.
People who just want to learn how to tune a piano with an ETD.

Here is how the course is run:
Once you sign up for the Mentor Program, you will get immediate access to all the lessons on HowToTunePianos.com.
After successfully completing the theory and stability courses, the student will receive one hour private online lessons given every week for 52 weeks.
At the discretion of the instructor, the student may be allowed to take two lessons per week for six months.
The student will work through 22 units and send in a recording of each unit once completed.
Each class the instructor will help the student advance in one or more of the following ways:
- Mark the unit with the student
- Go over the unit with the student
- Instruct the student how to pass the next unit
- Answer any general questions about piano tuning and repair 
After successful completion of all 22 units, the student will receive the certification of Aural Piano Tuner, APTU, with the International Piano Technicians School, IPTS.
