Sign up now to ensure this course runs. You will spend 20 hours in a piano music school in Scarborough, Ontario, learning the basic theory and technique for tuning pianos by ear. Monday, August 3, 2015: 8am - 1pm Tuesday, August 4, 2015: 8am - 1pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015: 8am - 1pm Thursday, August 6, 2015: 8am - 1pm The course is divided equally between theory and practice, lecture and application. You will be supervised as you run through each step in tuning a piano by ear. The course is designed to get you tuning a piano as quickly as possible. Extra theory is not presented. Resources are available to help with all difficulties that may present themselves. Tools ($300): Professional tuning hammer. Professional tuning fork. (3) 1/8" thick mute felt tuning strips.
