Save 10 to 15 minutes tuning this type of piano with this trick!

Sometimes there is not enough room to insert your hammer onto the A0 pin. See below.

There is usually a way to remove the wood piece so you can get at the pin, but that can take 10 to 15 minutes to remove and replace.

If you've ever switched out one of your piano tuning tips on your tuning hammer, you've probably got one of these:

This is a Tip Wrench used to remove and replace the tip on a piano tuning hammer.

It has two ends. One end is thinner than the other and is just the right size to insert into the small end of the tip, the end that screws on to the head.

To use this tool to save you time tuning A0, just use an extra tip and insert the small end of the wrench into the threaded end of the tip, like this:
