The Regulation Triangle allows you to easily visualize how Let Off, Key Dip, and Blow Distance affect Aftertouch. Proper Aftertouch is critical for proper feel and changing Let Off, Blow Distance, or Key Dip will change Aftertouch. Use the Regulation Triangle to easily figure out where to set each of the three setting so that the Aftertouch and feel are the best for any piano.
In order for you to understand the following piano tuning courses, you need to have a minimum understanding of piano tuning theory which includes basic music theory. If you were not able to pass the Piano Tuning Theory Test, then it is strongly recommended that you take this course and retake the theory test and pass it, before taking any of the following courses.
